What is vision AI for marketing?

Vision AI for marketing is AI that looks at the screens where your marketing lives (your ad accounts, your analytics, your website, your designs) and gives advice from what it sees. It is a narrower sense of "vision AI", which in most places means software that understands images and video, and CoraVision uses the phrase for marketing coaching that can see what the owner sees.

What can a chatbot not see?

A text chatbot answers from what you type. Type "my Google Ads aren't working" and it gives the advice it would give anyone, because it cannot see your campaign. The problem is almost always visible on the screen: the campaign is Performance Max with no conversion tracking, the ad sends people to the homepage, the search terms report is full of "free" and "jobs". None of that is in the prompt, so none of it is in the answer.

An AI that sees the screen starts from the same evidence you have. That changes the advice from general to specific, and it changes who can act on it, because the next step is pointed at on the screen where you will click it.

Where does the phrase come from, and what does it usually mean?

On 19 October 2026, Google's first result for "what is vision AI" was Google Cloud Vision, and the rest of the page was Samsung's Vision AI television feature and glossaries that define the term as image and video analysis: reading number plates, inspecting products on a line, turning a scanned page into text. That is computer vision, and it is the common meaning of vision AI.

Vision AI for marketing is the same family of model pointed at a different thing. It reads a screen rather than a camera, and what it reads is a marketing account rather than a factory line. CoraVision uses the phrase in that sense and defines it here so the two meanings stay apart.

What is vision AI for marketing not?

It is not a camera watching you. It is not a recording of your screen. It is not an AI that moves your mouse and clicks for you, which is a different thing called computer use AI. And it is not always on: in CoraVision, Cora sees your screen only during a session you start, as still images, and the images are not saved to your account.

What does it find in a $1,200 campaign? (example figures)

A dental practice spends $1,200 a month on Google Ads and gets 3 bookings. On a call, the owner opens the campaign. The screen shows the final URL for every ad is the homepage, and Google Analytics shows 300 clicks a month with a 1 percent conversion rate.

An AI that can see this says one thing: send the ads to the booking page. A text chatbot, told "ads not working", lists nine things to try. The owner changes the final URL, with the next step pointed at on their screen. At 3 percent, the same 300 clicks are 9 bookings, from the same $1,200.

How does Cora see your screen?

CoraVision is an AI marketing team for small, owner-led businesses. Cora, the AI Chief Marketing Officer, learns your business, builds your marketing plan, and talks you through the work step by step, live on your screen. You talk to Cora out loud, and you make every change yourself.

Cora sees your screen during a session you start, and in pill mode Cora points at the next step while you work in the ad account. Between sessions, CoraVision reads Google Ads, Meta and Google Analytics 4 every night, once they are connected, and never creates, changes or pauses anything. What Cora sees, and when, is written out in the Help Centre.

This is the definition. The long version is the guide: How is Vision AI used in marketing?.
