When you get your brand style guide
You get your brand style guide at the end of your onboarding call (session one). Dune builds it during the call and presents it to you, and it opens under Marketing Plan as soon as the call is done, whichever plan you are on.
Before your onboarding call

In the sidebar, click Marketing Plan, then Brand Style Guide. You see a blurred book with a pop-up over it headed Your brand book unlocks after your session one call.

Click Start session one to begin your onboarding call. If you have already started it, the button says Continue session one and takes you back to where you left off.
During your onboarding call

Answer Cora's questions about your business and your brand, and give Gage your website. Dune builds the guide from your answers and your website while the call goes on.

When Dune is ready to present it, a slide may say Putting your brand book together while Dune finishes the last pages. If it takes longer than usual, it asks whether you want to wait: click Keep waiting, or Skip to carry on with the call.

After the call

Open Marketing Plan, Brand Style Guide. Your guide is there, ready to read and download.

If instead it says Dune is finishing your brand book, wait a minute. If it still has not appeared, click Build it now. Building takes between 20 and 60 seconds.
What happens next
Read your guide and keep a copy. See What the brand style guide is and Download the brand style guide as a PDF. After your session two call, Dune uses it in the Design Studio.
Common questions
I clicked Skip. Do I still get my guide?
Yes. Skipping only moves the call on. Your guide keeps building and appears under Brand Style Guide; if it has not, click Build it now there.
I saw a brand style guide in the welcome tour. Was that mine?
No. The tour shows a sample guide for a made-up business. Yours is built in your onboarding call.
Do I need a plan to see it?
No. Your brand style guide is yours once your onboarding call is done, before you choose a plan.
It says the brand book could not load
Click Try again. If it keeps happening, send us a message from the contact page.
