The numbers in CoraVision don't match the platform

4 min Mac and Windows Updated 14 October 2026 · App 0.4.4

The Google Ads and Meta cards on your dashboard rarely match the platform to the cent, because CoraVision counts a fixed seven days and reads overnight, counts the result your business cares about, uses the platform's own attribution, and shows each account in its own currency. Check these in order; in almost every case nothing is wrong with your account.

Try this first: compare the same days

  1. On your dashboard, find the Google Ads or Meta card. Its label says Last 7 days: the seven full days before today. Today is never included.

The Google Ads card on the dashboard for Full Circle Yoga, Last 7 days, the cost per acquisition, Sales and the sparkline; the Last 7 days label and the cost per acquisition figure are outlined.
1 Seven full days, not including today.
  2. In Google Ads or Meta Ads Manager, set the date range to the same seven days, ending yesterday, and compare spend first. Spend is the figure least likely to differ.

  3. Allow for the newest day. CoraVision reads overnight, between about 2:00 am and 6:00 am Brisbane time, and its days run on UTC (world standard time), so in Australia the most recent day is often not read until the following night. Leave that day out of your comparison.

If spend matches but sales or leads do not

  1. Read the card's second figure: Sales, Leads or Conversions. CoraVision counts sales for an online store and leads for a business that wins enquiries, based on what you told Cora in your onboarding call.

  2. For Google Ads, compare with conversions in the purchase or lead category only. CoraVision counts by your conversion actions' categories when they have them; Google's Conversions column adds up every primary conversion. When your actions carry no category, the card counts them all and says Conversions.

  3. For Meta, compare using your ad account's own attribution setting, the one Ads Manager uses unless you change it. Results counted with a different attribution window in Ads Manager will differ.

  4. Look again tomorrow. Google and Meta keep adding late conversions to recent days, and CoraVision re-reads the last 30 days every night, so yesterday's count can still grow.

If it still looks wrong

  1. Check the currency. Each account is shown in its own currency and never converted, and dollar currencies show only the $ sign, so an account in New Zealand dollars reads like one in Australian dollars.

  2. Check Cora reads the account you are comparing with: in the sidebar click Connectors, then Manage on the card, and read the account name. See Choose which Google Ads account Cora reads.

The Google API connection window for Full Circle Yoga, the Google Ads row reading Imported and the account name; the Google Ads row's account name is outlined.
9 The account Cora reads, by name.
  3. If none of this explains it, send us a message from the contact page with the platform, the seven days you compared and both figures.

What happens next

Cost per acquisition is the spend divided by the sales or leads for the same seven days, and the small percentages compare them with the seven days before. When there is spend but no result, the card shows a dash and says no sales (or leads) were recorded yet.

Common questions

The card says there are no numbers yet. Is that a fault?

No. A new connection shows that until the first read lands, and Cora reads every night. If it still says so after a day, check under Manage that an account is imported.

The card says Could not read. What does that mean?

CoraVision could not fetch your figures at that moment. Nothing on your account has changed. Click Check again.

Why does Google Analytics show different sales from Google Ads?

Each platform decides in its own way which ad or visit earns a sale, so the same week rarely gives the same count in both. Cora reads both and takes the difference into account.
