What Cora reads from your accounts, and what Cora never changes

4 min Mac and Windows Updated 14 October 2026 · App 0.4.4

When you connect Google or Meta, CoraVision gets permission to read your campaigns, spend, results, website visits and products, once when you connect and again every night. It never creates, changes, pauses or deletes anything in your accounts, and you can disconnect at any time.

What Cora reads, platform by platform

  • Google Ads: your campaigns day by day, with their spend, clicks, impressions, conversions and conversion value, split by conversion action, device, age, gender, income and location. Cora also reads each campaign's budget and bidding type, and your account's currency and time zone.
  • Google Analytics (GA4): visits to your website by channel, source, device, landing page and region, new and returning visitors, key events, purchases, revenue and the products sold.
  • Merchant Center: your product list (each product's status, issues, availability and price) and how each product performs: clicks, impressions, conversions and value.
  • Tag Manager: the containers in your account, with their names and IDs, so Cora can see how your website's tracking is set up.
  • Meta (Facebook and Instagram): your campaigns and ad sets, with their spend, impressions, clicks and results, such as purchases and leads, and the value of those results, split by age, gender, placement and region.

What Cora never changes

CoraVision only sends requests to read. Cora never creates, edits, pauses or deletes a campaign, ad, budget, product, tag or post, and Cora cannot post to your Facebook or Instagram pages. When something needs changing, Cora shows you what to do and why, on your screen, and you make the change yourself.

Read onlyGoogle describes its Google Ads and Merchant Center permissions in words that mention managing your account, because they are the only permissions Google offers apps for those two products. CoraVision uses them to read. Analytics and Tag Manager have read-only permissions, and CoraVision asks for those.

Your Google and Facebook passwords never reach CoraVision. You type them into Google's or Facebook's own page in your web browser.

When Cora reads, and how long it is kept

The first read starts the moment you finish connecting and covers the last 365 days. After that, CoraVision reads every account again each night, between about 2:00 am and 6:00 am Brisbane time, and re-reads the last 30 days each time, because Google and Meta keep updating recent days. Numbers older than 400 days are removed as the window moves on.

See what Cora reads for your account

  1. In the sidebar on the left of your dashboard, click Connectors.

The Connectors cards for Full Circle Yoga, Google Ads and Meta both showing API connected with Manage; an arrow points to the outlined Manage button on Google Ads.
2 Manage opens what Cora reads through that connection.
  2. On the Google Ads card (or the Meta card), click Manage.

  3. Read the rows. Imported and an account name means Cora reads that account. Not set means Cora reads nothing for that product, and Temporarily unavailable means Google did not answer this time.

The Google API connection window over Connectors for Full Circle Yoga, Google Analytics and Google Ads Imported, Tag Manager and Merchant Center Not set; the four product rows are outlined.
3 Each row says whether Cora reads that product.
  4. Click Close.

What happens next

Cora uses these numbers in your calls, your strategy and your chats, and the Google Ads and Meta cards on your dashboard show the last seven days of cost per acquisition and sales (or leads). If they look different from what the platform shows, see The numbers in CoraVision don't match the platform.

Common questions

Does connecting Google let Cora read my Gmail or Google Drive?

No. CoraVision asks Google for Google Ads, Analytics, Merchant Center and Tag Manager only, plus your email address so it knows which Google sign-in connected.

Can CoraVision spend money in my ad accounts?

No. Nothing CoraVision sends to Google or Meta can create an ad, change a budget or start spending.

What happens to the numbers if I disconnect?

CoraVision stops reading and removes the access it holds. Reports and numbers it has already gathered stay in your account. See Disconnect a platform from CoraVision.
